Ready to create your fall planters? This is the workshop for you!
Join us to build a beautiful fall planter to accent your home! Grab a friend or family member + enjoy time in the greenhouse - we’ll plant + learn together!
The FIRST 20 attendees will get a choice of a FREE kale plant or fall grass!
Mill Creek staff will offer great options of fall annuals (mums, coneflowers, ornamental kale, grasses, etc.) for you to plant. Plus we'll teach you all about their care and maintenance!
Bring your planters to fill, or purchase one from Mill Creek. Is your pot too heavy to bring to our greenhouse? Stop in and grab a to-go kit of plants, soil, + fertilizer! We will walk you through the process so you'll feel comfortable when planting at home!
The materials included in the cost of this workshop (regardless of container size) are the soil you need + your choice of fall plants to fit your planter.
What to Wear: On a sunny day, our greenhouse can get pretty warm SO dress in layers & wear functional & comfortable shoes (tennis shoes, rain boots).
Farm to Table Dinner + Greenhouse Tour

Join us for a magical evening at Mill Creek where you’ll enjoy the grand tour of Mill Creek’s growing space + greenhouses, along with a delicious multicourse dinner prepared by the talented + local chef, Rob Arndt, all while delighting in the gorgeous ambiance of lush plants + live music in the greenhouse!
We'll enjoy a "Mocktails + Mums" greenhouse tour, where you'll get a look at our new greenhouses and large mum fields. You'll learn about how Mill Creek starts over one million plants each year from seed, tissue culture, and cutting. You’ll also learn more about Mill Creek’s passion for sustainability + automation, straight from our Head Grower. Enjoy wandering in the gorgeous mum field with ample time to ask Danielle and Erik (Mill Creek's owners) any questions!
Then, it will be time to enjoy a four-course meal in our charming greenhouse filled to the brim with lush plants, accompanied by live music by local talent, the band Lumönicity.
We'll start off with salad - cabbage, apple, sunflower seeds, egg, parmesan champagne vinaigrette, + micro greens. Then we'll enjoy an appetizer of parmesan zucchini fritters with whipped feta + sweet corn salsa. For our entree, Rob will serve spinach herb and apple stuffed pork roulade served with a summer succotash. Then we'll finish with warm caramelized peaches served over homemade vanilla bean ice cream.
All ingredients will be sourced from local farmer's markets. The entire menu is prepared gluten free. Vegetarian options are available upon request. Please note any other food allergies in order notes or give us a call.
This is a perfect event to attend with your partner for a unique date night, or with family + friends for a fun night out. Kids are welcome (regular tickets must be purchased for each child in attendance). Included in your ticket is a tour of Mill Creek’s growing operation, a 4-course meal by Vila's Farm to Table in our dreamy greenhouse space, live dinner music by Lumönicity, a shopping coupon to Mill Creek, and [no doubt] a grand old time with local people!

Autumn Affair @ Mill Creek

All ages are welcome - our coloring stations, fall scavenger hunt, and room to roam in our greenspace is available for kids all day, and our greenhouse is fully accessible for walkers, strollers, + wheelchairs. Patio tables will be available for enjoying food + company!

Children's Storytime @ Mill Creek - Apples + Pumpkins

Join us for a fun Children's Storytime! Our September theme will be Apples + Pumpkins, learning all about fall crops. We'll do a craft with apple slices and enjoy some fall treats.
This storytime is great for all ages + free treats will be provided (for the grownups, too).
Other activities during your visit: You kids are welcome to stop at our free coloring station or go on a scavenger hunt in the greenhouse! You're also welcome to shop our plants + goods! This is a great all-in-the-family event!
Plant Bingo

Come out for a fun night of bingo in the greenhouse, with signature Mill Creek flair, including plant trivia + the chance for plant afficionados to show off their plant expertise. No prior plant knowledge necessary!!!
Bingo at Mill Creek is free bingo - your ticket pays for food, beverages, + the greenhouse experience. Bingo cards are free and winners do not get cash prizes. All participants will take home a free plant.
Appetizers + a beverage included in your ticket. Gluten-free appetizer options will be available. All ages welcome with a ticket.
Fall Family Fun Day!
FREE Pumpkin Spice Popcorn + Pumpkin Painting!

Drop-in anytime during our open hours October 3 from 10a-3p + enjoy a tasty treat - pumpkin spice popcorn, + paint a pumpkin for FREE! We've got all the supplies you need! Kids at heart are also welcome to paint a pumpkin + popcorn is free for everyone.
Our fall coloring sheets + scavenger hunt are prepped and ready for kids of all ages!
We’ve got a great selection of mums + as always, indoor plants!
