Grow Your Mental Health Seminar: THURSDAY, July 25th 6:00-7:30pm

Location: Mill Creek Gardens - 8839 Mill Creek Drive, Marshfield, Wisconsin

Cost: $5/person

We always hear, “plants + flowers make people happy"…but how really?  What happens in our brains + bodies when we connect with nature through gardening, playing in the dirt, + basking in the sun?

This informative seminar with Carissa Weber, MA, LPC, CSAC, of The Joyful Mind, LLC will take us on deep dive of how plants change our brain + have the potential to improve our mental health.  We’ll also discuss how to develop healthy coping skills + learn what resources are available in the community for promoting mental wellness.

We will end our time with a small potting activity (involving HERBS) where we will experience all that we have learned!

The cost of the seminar is $5/person – reservations required; space is limited.  If cost is an issue for you, please reach out to Mill Creek as scholarships are available.
