Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that's related to changes in seasons, usually beginning in the fall and continuing on into the spring months. In Wisconsin, we can really feel its effects because the cold and dark come quickly and last a long time.
But we can support our mental health during these months! It doesn't have to be as hard this year if we know how to help ourselves. Come learn about SAD with Carissa Weber, licensed professional counselor, about SAD and ways to help. We'll talk about the part that plants can play in nurturing our mental health and get our hands in the soil together.
Everyone will take home a free indoor plant and good information to carry into the fall + winter months, plus get to enjoy a free beverage.
Come enjoy an educational + restorative evening in the greenhouse with us!
