There's a lot of buzz about anxiety today - in fact, about 30% of Americans are diagnosed with it at some point in their lives. But what is it, really - an emotion? A mental illness? Do we just have to live with it or can we get help?
This 45-minute class with Liz Cravillion, mental health counseling intern, will teach how to recognize anxiety + offer tools to start the healing process. This class breaks down the topic of anxiety into practical information that can help you identify how anxiety shows up in daily life. We’ll talk about the brain science behind anxious feelings, and how to gauge our levels of anxiety, which will help us determine the practical steps we can take to manage it.
Then we'll dig into the dirt for some stress release and everyone will take home a free indoor plant and good information to carry home and use in everyday life, plus get to enjoy a free beverage.
Come enjoy an educational + restorative evening in the greenhouse with us!
